THROTON
( pronounced throwton )
The football that Da Vinci would have designed, Marconi would have electrified, and Ceasar would have weaponized.
The THROTON (not throwton) is made of medical grade, super soft, ultra tough PVC plastic. Injection molded at hundreds of tons pressure yields a precision device with great aerodynamic character. Designed to fit the human hand, it's shape naturally falls into the sweet spot of your palm. The front cone acts like the intake on a jet engine, gulping in air and directing the device onto it's course of least resistance - a tight spiral. The rear cone acts like a badmitton birdy's tail, stabilizing the trajectory and locking it on course.
The THROTON has eight interanl ribs that act like the laces on a football. You can't see them but you can sure feel them. The ultra soft grip deforms in your hand as you cradle it. Upon launch, you fingers sink into the grip - aligning with the ribs and giving you precise control of the stabilizing spin you put on the ball. This designed-in launch platform for your hand feels great, giving you a connection to the THROTON that inspires confidence. All of these characteristics combine to make the THROTON launch a natural, intuitive act, almost automatic for true and accurate passes.

The THROTON is designed to be caught like no other device in the athletic world. Catching the THROTON is like a rocket landing softly on target. The front cone acts as a shock absorber as the device contacts your hand. As the cone crushes, the energy of the incoming THROTON is absorbed as the ball comes to rest gently in your hands. The THROTON flexible grip finishes your soft reception. For young kids, this translates into no fear of the ball.
